One of the newest hotels in Aqaba, and certainly the bookie’s favourite to be the most stylish, the Kempinski brings an air of contemporary elegance to this coastal resort and will feel instantly familiar to fans of the design hotel concept. Marking out a stretch of seafront in the centre of town, the hotel faces down onto an attractive pool area that borders onto a delightful sweep of manicured beach. All rooms and suites have a seaview, and are designed with a fresh and airy sophistication that is really appealing. The plain white colour scheme could come across as rather minimalist but instead feels invigorating and tasteful. Spa-lovers are well catered for with a range of treatments, and there are enough restaurants to provide variety during your stay. This is probably the best choice for those travelling without children, although children are welcome here.
