The Rasoun Trail is a guided 2-3 hour walk over a distance of 7km. You begin at the visitor’s centre of Ajloun Reserve and end in the village of Orjan. You hike through thick, healthy woodlands filled with oak, pistachio and oriental strawberry trees. The trail then takes you up to 1000m above sea level to Eagle’s viewpoint giving you extensive views over the evergreen forest and surrounding villages. At the end of your hike, you may wish to return to the visitor centre where you can visit the soap house where local women follow the traditional process of making Orjan pure olive soap.
